As I was super poor this Christmas, I decided to make quite a few of my presents including these crosses inspired by the ones often found in Mexico. They're made from paper mache and a lot of glitter. My favourite comes complete with holographic Jesus.

Double Exposure.
I'm going to be working with double exposure a bit for my next project so did a few tests last week. I accidently mixed these images of Hastings beach with my Mums studio. The next ones will just be of the sea.

The First & The Last.
Our work for 'The First & The Last' exhibition has now been moved to the Swiss Cottage Library Gallery. The screen prints I created with Tristram for the Belgian Tourist Board will be on show until the 4th December.
Grayson Perry Late.
A small selection of the offerings that were made at the Grayson Perry Late event at the British Museum! You can see all of them at Hart & Helm, and the shrine that they were all added to. We had so much fun and want to thank everybody that came to make with us on the night! A special thank you to Caspar too, for being a fabulous photographer.

Division.
Over the last few weeks I've been working with Tristram Mason on a brief set by the Belgian Tourist Board to commemorate WW1. We were looking at 'division' as a theme and the many aspects of the war that were affected by this. We created layered screen prints from our own photography and these a a few of the test images we created.
The final pieces of work are on show at the Oxo Tower Gallery until November 20th as part of 'The First and the Last' exhibition.

Ireland.
Last week I got to spend four days in Ireland with Caspar. We went on lots of wholesome walks and made lots of hearty dinners. I also got to photograph his house and land before his parents sell it this winter, including his dad's studio which was perfect for the visuals I'm creating as part of my dissertation. The rest of the photos are here.

Blog.
Our joint blog for the work we're doing for Grayson Perry Late.
We built our shrine structure last week and painting and decorating commences tonight!
The photographs are some of my favourite objects from the actual exhibition, which we got to see last week at the early morning private view. We got to meet Grayson Perry too which was amazing.

OPEN.
Last week I visited OPEN studio as part of my dissertation research. I talked to illustrator, Holly Wales about the changing role and function of modern day studio practice, and the viability and importance of providing design students with studio space which was really interesting. I took a few photos of the space before I left and also had a nice cup of tea.

Collage.
One of the collages I've made for the new Bea's of Bloomsbury branch on Kings Road. After a very busy summer, myself and Beth have very nearly finished the new shop and we're very excited about the grand opening on 14th October!

London.
The top two images are from a book I've made with Grace as part of our LDF exhibition, happening this week! They're risographed collages made up of buildings situated along the river Thames. Below them is one of the nets I've created for the interactive installation. Members of the public are invited to build a net or decorate there own inspired by London design, and then add it to the growing collection. Come see us on Thursday night - here!

Beyond The Valley / V&A.
Last Tuesday evening I helped Beyond The Valley install their exhibition at the V&A as part of London Design Festival. We spent the night hanging the beautiful wallpapers they've made specially for the event. They will act as a backdrop for the launch of the new ipad app, Granimator where you can create your own digital wallpapers inspired by the ones in the gallery.
We were in the museum until 2 in the morning in our socks, with a security guard to escort us to the toilet and a torch to guide us through the galleries!
